Do It Yourself Digital in a World in Turmoil?
My goal when writing eBooks is to provide the reader with actionable steps to achieve their business and marketing objectives. I always hope, that even in a small way, I can make a difference in the lives of others. But things are not rosy for many. Including some digital freelancers. I do not know about you, but the forced “work from home” thing paired with the ever-present fear of catching the virus has given me a different mindset. As an eBook author in the business and marketing space, I used to jump in with glee to deconstruct and write about topics that are hopefully helpful to others. The kinds of areas I have written about include how to “create profitable marketing,” or activating and encouraging that digital freelancers get referrals from sites that “digirefer” as well as trying to encourage others to learn the ways to “diydigi” whic stands for “do it yourself digital.”

Lately though, I have been asking myself what is incredibly useful for the digital marketing freelancer? Many freelancers before the pandemic did digital freelance work just as a side hustle. But with the destructive force of COVID-19 and its variants, some freelancer lost their main job and now need to depend on their freelancing as the primary and only source for income.
