Community Marketing Magic

With Marketing, Making a Difference Can Be Magic

The Tools to Bring People Together

Did you know that you can learn a lot about marketing for community events that make a difference by studying the craft of magician entertainers? Magicians employ some of the same kind of psychological techniques as promoters do. For this USA Make a Difference installment, we wish to thank the creators of 3 of the magic tricks websites that are a part of the Blog Coalition. These include Houdini Day, Invent Mentalism and Magic Neighbors.

Houdini Day takes a look at how Harry Houdini used publicity and marketing to become the most famous magician in the world even after his death in 1926.

Invent Mentalism examines mentalism and how certain aspects of it can help in the sales process.

“Magic Neighbors” uncovers the relationship that prestidigitation has to marketing for the community.

Back from a Break

We are Back

We took off a week or so for the Winter Break to make more time for family. In general things overall are going to slow down on this blog a bit as we do our best to help others make a difference through various external projects that we have going on.

Entertainers Face Challenges

The Blog Coalition though continues on with coverage of various blogs that are currently in the collective. One such website is Become a Mentalist which starts to look at the very real challenges that mentalists and others in the entertainment industry face.

It used to be different for entertainers because they were able to book jobs for live theater as well as corporations and other gigs. With COVID-19 all this has changed. In-person bookings are a thing of the past, at least for now. We are dedicated to helping to make a difference for mentalists and others (inside and outside of the entertainment field) to find success in the upward battle many face in terms of employment.

Market Your Journey

One of the Blog Coalition sites that has some helpful information today is Market Your Journey. They have an extended and helpful piece today detailing how you can use your own story to advance your career or business.

Making Meaning

Kindness in a World Gone Mad

Practicing Kindness

It seems that American society may be even more fractured than we first thought. With COVID-19 in the background and the full front, these United States have been not so united, with the ongoing division between Republicans and Democrats, plus even a further split as Republicans try to figure out who they are as a party. But that is just the beginning. Because in all of these camps there is a further split between those who are cynics and those who believe in and practice kindness.

Helping Others

There is so much unsettling news each day. It is difficult sometimes trying to find in news media the fine line between being informed and not letting the negativity get to you. There is no easy solution on how to stay in touch with your humanness in a world that is largely portrayed as inhuman. A path some recommend is the belief in a higher power, and this has been discovered by many as the right way to go. Also, it can help to have a sense of purpose and discover the way that you can help other people.

Practical Solutions

The websites we are going to peruse today are not of folks trying to change the world, but rather, bloggers who strive to offer practical and useful information for those who own small businesses. The blogs we are looking at today are DIY Digi, How to Do Online Marketing, and How to Get New Customers.

A Happier Planet

The thing that all three web locations have in common is that they provide insight into how to use digital to have a more successful business. The hope is that the empowerment of entrepreneurs with approaches that work, will lead to a happier workplace with more jobs and ultimately maybe even a happier planet!

Getting Along

Participating in the Blog Coalition

Blogs in the Coalition

“USA Make a Difference” participates in the Blog Coalition that consists of artistic and business blogs sharing creative strategies for use during the current Pandemic, taking into account that we are a country divided. In this article we will be looking at websites Celebify, Create Profitable Marketing and DigiRefer all three of which are a part of the coalition.

Purpose and Mission

Most blogs these days have a mission whether it be silly or serious. As we read blogs on different topics, we are impressed with the amount of knowledge sharing that is going on. If you know where to look the internet can truly be a useful source of information. Celebify, Create Profitable Marketing and DigiRefer all have purposes and missions regarding serving their audiences.

Celebify for example has an ambitious mission which is to help their readers from various industries to become well known in their fields.

Create Profitable Marketing on the other hand lets it be known that they not only include helping people have monetary success with their promotions, but they also explore in their mission the importance of nurturing their readers so that they have a sense of accomplishment when making a difference through their marketing.

And finally, DigiRefer has the mission of connecting folks with each other so that they work together on creative and business projects.

Create Your Own Luck

How to Create Your Own Luck as Seen Today at Blogs Thrillumentary, ArtisticPreneur and Blog Coalition

If you are an American, you have at your disposal, more than in many other countries, the opportunity to create luck for yourself. Even if you are an introvert and not someone who is comfortable with “networking” whether it be in person or virtually, with the right insights and actions, you can pave your way to good fortune.

If You Do Not Have Luck It is Harder to Pay It Forward

If you feel you are not a lucky person, it becomes more difficult to pay it forward. This is possibly in part because you are intrenched in your own negative beliefs and have little hope of a better future. Then add to this the fact that we are in a Pandemic and a country severely divided, and you have the recipe for stress and feeling unlucky.

How to Create Your Own Luck

How to create your own luck by viewing setbacks as opportunities. Following along with the notion that “Everything happens for a reason,” with training and affirmations we can move toward a new mindset. One that automatically looks at each new problem that arises in our lives, as the fun adventure into reworking this curveball into a chance to take a positive step forward.

Websites that are Experiments in Making a Difference and Building Luck

Websites that are experiments in making a difference and building luck include Thrillumentary, ArtisticPreneur and Blog Coalition. These sites all strive to make a difference in their own particular community and with their own unique skillsets, because they believe that giving back in turn builds luck.
